How do I convert my plug and play spa into a 240V? Trying to do the work myself if I can. Any advice is appreciated.

Converting your plug-in home spa to a wired 220v, 230v, or 240v spa is a multi-step process that starts with mapping out the path from your home’s main circuit box to the hot tub’s placement.
Conversion necessitates running conduit and wiring between the hot tub and the power source from the circuit box to a Ground Fault Connection Interrupt (GFCI) circuit breaker. The GFCI must be kept in a waterproof box that is at least five feet away from and readily visible from the hot tub. Possible GFCI box mounting locations include your home’s exterior wall, a deck post, or a post that you anchor into the ground. Unless you are an expert in how hot tubs work and or a licensed electrician, I would not attempt to do the conversion myself.
