The presence of foam in a pool is attributable to the “thickness” of the water. Bubbles form as a result of this thickness. The air in the bubbles comes from your pool circulation system, which returns the water to the pool, or from the wind outside. Shampoo, gel, hairspray, and other hair care products are common causes of foam.
